About Trail of Cheer

The Trail of Cheer Christmas Festival is an event that is near and dear to the ownership and management of the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park. Our cast and crew work very hard to put on a great show for Halloween and thousands of people from the surrounding communities come out every year to support us.

The Trail of Cheer is our way of giving back to the community and to say THANK YOU for 24+ years of support. All the staff during our setup months are VOLUNTEERS and they work very hard setting up this Christmas event for you. The Lawton community desperately needs a Christmas Festival that we all can be proud of. We are honored to be in a position to provide this event for the community. It is our mission to grow this event into something that will attract people from well outside our community.

The ownership of the Trail of Fear and Trail of Cheer Christmas Festival have deep roots in the Lawton Community dating back to the early 1970's. We genuinely care about the area, the Lawton community, and the image/reputation of our town!
